KK’s suggestions for seniors – “Don’t age meaninglessly”. This father of one who retired in 2011 and was in the shipyard business for over 10 years, said that in the business, people often stayed over 20 years. “They don’t talk to their children or grandchildren; they just go to work and then home so when they retire, they become lonely.” The 67-year-old said that it is important to be social. “Talking to others gives people a spirit-boost. … It is a time well-spent. You can learn so much just by talking to people.” A “trainer-by-passion” KK stays very active – he is writing a management book, came up with a training programme and goes to the gym four times a week.
